The ValueBridge App is a new web application that brings rigorous private equity value creation mathematics to real-world portfolio sizes. It accurately measures how leverage, operational improvements, and market forces impact returns and then instantly aggregates value drivers by deal, fund, manager, and limited partner investment portfolio.
While we love Excel, it does not scale for advanced value creation models with custom market benchmarks. The app performs the same math found in Module and Case Study Excel templates, but solves spreadsheet limitations by storing data in the cloud and running calculations server-side. Multiple team members can work in the app to contribute portfolio company and market data, and administrators can control access levels so data quality stays high — something that is essentially impossible with shared local files.
