This Privacy Policy includes important information about your personal data and we encourage you to read it carefully.

Welcome

ValueBridge.net is a subscription-based website that provides content (“Resources”) to help private equity practitioners (“Subscribers”) better understand and communicate with one another about the drivers of investment returns within the asset class.

Resources include instructional videos, downloadable Microsoft Excel templates, online calculators, written instruction, and links to information available on other websites. Resources may also include site member-generated content posted by ValueBridge.net Subscribers.

Subscribers may include individuals who work at private equity investment firms, often described as General Partners or GPs, and those that provide capital to General Partners, often described as Limited Partners or LPs. Subscribers may also include individuals who work at financial intermediary firms, regulatory agencies, and academic institutions.

Information on this website is highly technical. If you are not familiar with the general concepts of private equity investment, then this website is probably not for you. Consider evaluating the related, free content available at AUXILIA Mathematica before subscribing to ValueBridge.net.

No spam, no spyware, ever

Under no circumstances will ValueBridge.net ever rent, sell, or give away Subscriber email addresses or other contact information. The site never exchanges mailing lists with any organizations. Nothing available for downloaded from this site will ever contain spyware.

What data we collect and why we collect it

ValueBridge.net collects information from Subscribers who create accounts. The site aggregates information on what content Subscribers access and information volunteered by Subscribers, such as site registrations, names, addresses, and telephone numbers. Collected information is used to improve the site, provide Subscribers with customized content, and notify Subscribers about updates.

ValueBridge.net also collects “Transaction Data” from Subscribers, as defined below.

Transaction Data

ValueBridge.net collects payment information to process subscriptions. Payment information may include your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and payment method information, such as credit or debit card numbers. This information is passed to the site’s payment gateway to process purchases. The last 4 digits of credit card numbers and expiration dates are saved by the site to use for reference and to send emails if credit cards may expire before anticipated payment dates.

Article comments and forum topics or replies

When Subscribers post article comments or forum topics or replies, the site collects posted data and also the visitor’s IP address and browser details to help spam detection.

Cookies

If Subscribers visit ValueBridge.net’s login page, the site will set a temporary cookie to determine if browsers accept cookies. These cookies contain no personal data and are discarded when Subscribers close their browser.

When Subscribers log in, the site will also set up several cookies to save their login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If Subscribers select “Remember Me”, their login will persist for two weeks. If Subscribers log out of their accounts, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites

Content on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behave in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about Subscribers, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor Subscriber interaction with that embedded content, including tracking interaction with the embedded content if Subscribers have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain Subscriber data

ValueBridge.net stores personal information that Subscribers provide in their user profile. All Subscribers can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

When Subscribers post article comments or forum topics or replies, these posts and their related metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so ValueBridge.net can recognize and approve any follow-up posts automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What rights Subscribers have over their data

Subscribers who have posted article comments or forum topics or replies can request that ValueBridge.net erase any personal data related to the Subscriber. This does not include any data that the site is obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
